Summer disc golf tournament : Big Cup Challenge III !

Join us on Saturday, September 4th 2010 or the Big Cup Challenge to be held on Ile Charron in Longueuil (next to Iles de Boucherville).

This disc golf tournament, organized by the ADGM (Association Disc Golf Montreal), is open to all, regardless of age or skill level.

The program is divided into 7 categories. The leading three players in each category will be awarded prizes; the best players in the OPEN division will win prize money! 80% cash-payout for OPEN players !

More than $1500 dollars worth of prizes will be given out during the day!

Tournament Program

Three rounds of twelveholes will be played; 2 in the morning and 1 after lunch. The person having the lowest over-all score for the three rounds takes the division they are classed in for the tournament.

Departure points for Beginner and Intermediate players are closer to the baskets than for Experienced and Advanced players.

The top three players in each category will win a prize and have their names added to the ADGM’s list of prizewinners. The top players in the Open Category will be awarded prize money.

The winner of the Highest Category will have their name engraved on the Big Cup.

Tournament location

The tournament will take place in the green space next to the Centre d'Epuration Rive Sud (CERS), just before Iles de Boucherville.

Tournament schedule

  • 8:15 a.m. - Registration
  • 9:00 a.m. - Players' meeting and start of 1st round
  • 10:30 a.m. - Calculation of 1st round results and start of 2nd round
  • 12:30 a.m. - Lunch & skills competitions
Skill contests will be offered during the lunch hour. Pack your lunch ahead of time so you can join in the fun.
  • 1:30 p.m. - Scorecard handout & Start of the final regular round of 12 baskets.
  • 3:30 p.m. - Final tournament results; Prize remittance.

The tournament will take place rain or shine.

 

Tournament Registration Fees

  • Children 12 years old and under : $5
  • Junior (between 13 and 17 years old) : $10
  • Beginner : 10$
  • Intermediate : $20
  • Advanced : $30
  • Open : 50$ (80% cash-payout for Open players)

 

Registration includes participation in three rounds of 12 holes.

A $5 discount is offered to ADGM members (for members of 12 years old and over), irrelevant of their skill level.

A quality Discraft disc golf could be purchase for additionnal 15$ at the moment of the registration (limit of 1 disc per registered player)

Registration fees may be payed onsite the day of the tournament or in advance to one of the ADGM administrators.

Please take note that this tournament is part of the ADGM Tour 2010.

 

Player Categories

Open Division

Amateur Division :
• Beginner
• Intermediate (AM2)
• Advanced (AM1)

Women's Amateur Division :
• Beginner
• Intermediate (AW2)
• Advanced (AW1)

 

Minimum of 3 players per category required.

Junior Mixed Division is reserved for players under 17 years old.

(Junior and Children will be mixed if there is not enough registered players in these divisions).
