Fall League 2009 !

On weekends through November & December, the Monseigneur Pigeon Recreational Center and the ADGM invite you to participate in a disc golf league at Ignace Bourget park in Montreal.

To celebrate the first league the first disc golf course in Montreal, registration is free!

The league is open to all, regardless of age or skill level.
There will be three divisions : Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.

For those who have never played disc golf, this is the perfect opportunity to discover the sport, and for the others, it's a great chance to practice in a friendly atmosphere!

Autumn league schedule

League games will be held each weekend from Sunday, November 1st to Saturday, December 5th, between 10 :00am and 12 :00pm on alternating Saturdays and Sundays. Please consult the calendar below for more details.

- Saturday, November 21st
- Sunday, November 29th
- Saturday, December 5th

Tournament Central

Meet at 9:40am at the chalet in the middle of Ignace Bourget park (green building between the pool and the hockey rink).


Fee

It's simple : Free for everyone!

If you do not have discs, the ADGM will provide loaners at the park.


League ranking system

Players will be registered according to skill level : Beginner/Junior, Intermediate, Advanced.

Each player will play 2 rounds of 9 holes (18 total).

Players in each division receive points based on the final score of each round (e.g. : 20 for 1st place, 18 for 2nd, 16 for 3rd, etc.)

At the end of 6 weeks, each player's three best rounds will be kept and their points will determine their final ranking in each division.

The winner in each division will be the player with the most points in the final ranking.
Champions will be crowned and rewarded!

Results and rankings will be updated each week on the ADGM site.


Skill Competition

Each week, after the rounds, there will be a putting contest. Participation is optional.

Fee : $2.00 per player (ADGM members and non-members)

Payout : the winner receives half the registrations fees and the ADGM receives the other half, which will be used to finance other activities to develop and promote disc golf in Montreal.
